There are many ways to promote your business - but are they effective and are they consistent with your brand? Nigel will review promotional material with the group from a range of businesses. We will look at the messages they give, the image they portray and how they could be improved. The taster will end with some guidelines applicable to any business.

Do you groan at the thought of your full inbox and sigh at the junk mail you receive? Surveys show emails can still be a very effective marketing tool. Gill will explore with each group how emails can be more effective and how to make sure you don't miss opportunities

We may think our website is OK - but what do visitors really think about it, and what messages does it give about us and our business? Graham will discuss some examples of typical small business websites and give tips on how they could be improved, leading to a better experience for the visitor, and ultimately to increased sales.
