Meet the chefs
I’m passionate about helping businesses find practical solutions to their problems, and make improvements to increase profits and strengthen customer relationships. I love demonstrating how technology and organisational changes can get better results for businesses.
I have over 30 years’ experience in the corporate world in a wide range of roles, many of which have involved identifying and solving problems. My skills include control, project management, strategy, process improvement, financial management and automation.
I have run my own business for over six years, and enjoy helping business owners define and reach their goals. I have established a network of associates who provide expertise in many aspects of running a business, and believe there are many benefits to be gained by small businesses working together to share skills and expertise.
In my spare time I enjoy working with my horse, walking in the beautiful Cotswolds and spending time with friends. I have previously volunteered as a Cotswold warden, helping maintain the footpaths, stiles and gates that criss-cross this beautiful area.
I initially studied engineering and worked in the motor industry around the world. When marketing, sales and project management became a significant part of my role I decided to study marketing, strategy and small business at the Manchester Business School. I helped Maynards launch their wine gums in the USA and various small and medium-sized businesses grow their sales.
My first full-time marketing role was with Spirax Sarco in Cheltenham where I ultimately led the UK marketing team and was responsible for everything from market research and mystery shopping to advertising, PR and websites. I spent three years in South Korea understanding how teamwork and a clear vision can transform a business.
After working as a sales and marketing manager for Epsilon I spent some time in key account management in the environmental and special effects industry. I’ve also worked as a practice manager for the NHS and freelanced for the BBC.
I live in Cheltenham with my wife, and have three grown-up children, who live in Canada, Chile and the capital.

I very much enjoy working with businesses looking to gain a better understanding of their financials. I can do this by demonstrating the wealth of extra information they hold to help make more informed business decisions.
